VFAI The 10th Vietnam International Conference in Finance (VICIF 2026), held at the Meliá Hanoi Hotel, Vietnam, on 9 -10 July 2026, marked an important milestone in our journey of advancing finance research and fostering international collaboration.
This year, VICIF welcomed more than 100 participants from across Vietnam and around the world. Over two days, the conference featured more than 70 paper presentations, showcasing the latest research many areas of finance.
Before the conference, we were delighted to host the Responsible Use of Generative AI in Research Idea Generation workshop, led by Professor Robert Faff and Professor Huu Nhan Duong (Monash University) at Foreign Trade University.
We were also honoured to welcome Professor Tony Cookson (Smeal College of Business, Penn State University) as our keynote speaker. His insightful presentation explored social media and its relationship with artificial intelligence.
Another proud milestone was the launch of the Vietnam Finance Case Competition (VFCC) – a new national initiative that brings universities and industry together to provide students with practical, real-world finance learning experiences.
