VFAI On June 30, 2018, the day after the 2018 Vietnam International Conference in Finance (VICIF), VFAI organized a training session hosted by University of Economics and Law (UEL) for researchers from local universities. The program includes presentations by VFAI members in their expertise areas, a writing workshop, and presentations by participants to gather feedback from VFAI members. More than 40 faculty members and researchers from several universities in Ho Chi Minh City participated in the training.
Special thanks to Dr. Hieu Phan (University of Massachusetts Lowell, USA) for putting together the training and Dr. Tran Hung Son (UEL) for arranging the logistics. We also thank VFAI members who presented in the training: Dr. Hazel Nguyen, Southwestern University, USA; Dr. Lai Vo, Western Connecticut State University, USA; Dr. Nhan Le, Australian National University, Australia; and Dr. Hai Nguyen, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong and all the participants.
Given the success of this year’s training session, VFAI intends to offer training sessions together with our future VICIFs.
